I have been interested in photography for a very long time, carrying around a kiddie camera back in 2007. In middle school, I was a part of the yearbook club, where I designed the yearbook and took photos for our yearbook! After graduating from high school in 2022, I decided I wanted to pursue photography as a hobby. I created an Instagram and Facebook profile called "Ella P. Photography". I did my first senior photo session before I left for college. I took all of my photos on my phone, as I didn't have a real camera yet.

That all changed the next summer. I was handed down a Canon camera from my great uncle, who later passed away. That camera ultimately gave me a great starting point in photography. I ended up taking my cousin's senior photos and began photographing events the next semester, such as Theta Chi's annual Rock the Tundra event.

In 2024, I officially rebranded to Ella's Design and Photos, so I could encapsulate a website that showcases my skills in photography and graphic design, which is my degree. I will be graduating from Ohio Northern University next semester, Spring 2026! Speaking of 2026, lots of great things are planned for this year. I plan on upgrading my camera and going to even more events once I graduate from college.

Outside of my photography and graphic design life, I have stayed involved through music. I have been in various ensembles at ONU, including: marching band, symphonic band, pep band, and even steel drum ensemble! I plan to continue playing my trombone after I graduate as well. I am also in Delta Zeta and Tau Beta Sigma, where I have held positions such as PR assistant and Historian. When I am not at school, I like to play video games. Some of my favorites include the Pokémon franchise, Super Mario, Deltarune, Dispatch, Team Fortress 2, and Sonic. I also have 2 greyhounds and 3 cats at home :)
